What excatly is Broadband?
Broadband is simply a new high speed Internet connection.
If you're reading this, the chances are that you:
- currently have an Internet connection and want to upgrade
- have just registered for internet access for the first time
If you currently have an Internet connection, the chances are that is Dial Up. This is where your computer connects to the internet through your phone line, via a modem. This method however is slow and ties up your phone line.
If you are a first time user of the internet, you've probably just went straight to a broadband connection and are enjoying the many advantages it offers.
