Wifi Hotspots

WiFi has now been introduced to public transport for the first time in Northern Ireland. Passengers on the Airporter coach service between the north west and both Belfast International and George Best Belfast City Airport can now take advantage of free on-board WiFi.

The following list of wifi hotspots is unlikely to be exhaustive as we cannot keep track of every hotspot that springs up in Northern Ireland!

However, with your help, we hope to build up a useful reference guide providing detail on all the main hotspots in the province. If you are aware of a hotspot which is NOT listed, please let us know and we will add it to the list. Public WiFi hotspots normally require a paid subscription. The sign-up process involves providing credit card information online or by phone and choosing a service plan.

When you connect to a public wifi network and then open up your browser, you will generally be taken to the provider login-home page. Some service providers offer plans that work at hundreds of hotspots throughout the country.
